Reviewers' Comments

The University Learning and Teaching Futures Colloquium Committee has
considered the independent reviews of your full paper submission and
will only accept it for the Colloquium proceedings publication subject
to significant revision addressing the following main points.

Please take note of the reviewers comments. In summary:

* Clarity and style need addressing. It is too colloquial and needs to consider an audience which is not specialised in the discipline. The diagrams may be easier to understand for a non-chemist if no specific reaction is included. Bear in mind the protocols of professional scholarship of teaching and learning, i.e. remove references to "muggle" and similar non-professional use of
language.

* The argument is unclear. A point needs to be made - it cannot be left to the reader to draw their own conclusions

* Needs to be better linked to higher education literature

The revised paper will be assessed against the points made above and
the original reviews. As the changes requested are substantial, the
resubmitted paper will be reviewed again following resubmission.

It is expected you will obtain additional feedback from peers at the
Colloquium and this may assist you in developing your paper to the
required standard.

The purpose of the ULT-Futures Colloquium is to assist academic staff
in developing their scholarship of teaching and learning, and the
reviews should be considered in this light.

Without this goal your paper would have been rejected without further
opportunity for improvement.
